The safety awareness test: halve your penalty points

Collected penalty points? Malta's system includes a recovery route: passing the Authority's safety-awareness test reduces your recorded points by 50%. For a driver drifting toward the 12-point revocation line, that's the difference between driving and walking.

It's designed as education, not punishment — a structured refresher on the rules that catch drivers out. Our instructors can help you prepare for it the same way we prepare learners for theory. Best plan, obviously: never need it.
